About EverStride
Compassionate care for senior pets and the people who love them
I'm Dr. Claire Parkinson, a veterinary surgeon with over 15 years of experience in small animal practice. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of caring for countless senior pets and their devoted families.
What I noticed time and again was a gap in pet care. As pets enter their senior years, their needs change dramatically. They require different approaches to exercise, nutrition, comfort, and enrichment. Yet traditional veterinary visits often focus on illness management rather than optimising quality of life and daily comfort.
I created EverStride to fill this gap through vet-guided wellness support. The name reflects my philosophy: every stride, every step, every day matters when caring for a senior pet. It's not about adding years to lifeβit's about adding life to years.
During our wellness discussions, we take the time to really understand your pet's daily life. How do they move? Where do they sleep? What brings them joy? What causes discomfort? Then we create a personalised plan that addresses their unique needs, helping you provide the best possible care at home.
My approach is rooted in geriatric veterinary medicine, behaviour science, and environmental enrichment. But more than that, it's rooted in empathy. I understand the deep bond you share with your pet and the desire to make every remaining day as comfortable and joyful as possible.
It's important to note that EverStride provides educational wellness guidance, not clinical veterinary services. For any medical diagnosis or treatment needs, I'll always direct you to your regular veterinary practice. My role is to complement your vet's clinical care by focusing on lifestyle, comfort, and quality of life optimisation.
Scope of Service & Professional Standards
As a UK-registered veterinary surgeon (MRCVS), I am bound by the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct. EverStride operates as an educational wellness service, not a clinical veterinary practice.
What EverStride Provides:
- Vet-guided wellness and lifestyle support
- Observation-based discussions about your pet's comfort

- Personalised routine and enrichment plans
- Movement and comfort optimisation strategies
What Requires Your Regular Vet:

If I observe anything during our discussion that suggests a medical issue, I will always recommend you contact your regular veterinary practice for clinical assessment. EverStride is designed to complement, not replace, your pet's ongoing veterinary care.
